The little things
add up to a life.

Mostly, an aside. is a small independent journal, kept in photographs, words, and occasional moving images.

A well-toasted slice of bread. An unplanned turn. An ordinary object that is somehow hard to part with. Nothing that makes the news; plenty worth keeping.

This is a place to own and tend at a comfortable pace. If a visit inspires a small detour, it has done its job.
